Product identity infrastructure for the 2D transition

Move product codes forward. Keep your systems intact.

TraceRelay turns existing EAN, UPC and GTIN catalogues into a reviewable path toward GS1-compatible 2D workflows—without demanding an ERP replacement.

Free GTIN check

Test one identifier before sending a catalogue.

The checker removes common formatting characters, verifies the GS1 check digit and shows the canonical 14-digit form used by TraceRelay. It does not verify ownership or licence status.

EVOLVE

A controlled migration, not a blind conversion

Existing catalogue in. Actionable migration plan out.

Start with the data you already have. TraceRelay separates correct identifiers from records that need a human decision before anything reaches packaging or production.

01

Import

Bring a CSV export from the ERP, PIM or spreadsheet workflow you use today.

02

Validate

Check GTIN length, check digits, duplicates and incomplete product records.

03

Map

Connect product, batch, expiry or serial data to the right migration profile.

04

Publish

Generate reviewable assets and durable product links when the catalogue is ready.

Built around product identity

More useful than another QR generator.

MIGRATION ENGINE

See every bad record before it becomes a printing problem.

Catalogue validation and duplicate detection create a review queue instead of silently generating unreliable symbols.

Valid GTIN98.4%
Complete product data93.2%

BARCODE ASSETS

Generate from canonical data.

Generate GS1 Digital Link QR assets from validated identifiers. Data Matrix support remains a planned carrier profile and is not presented as available today.

PERSISTENT LINKS

Change the destination, not the packaging.

Keep product resources behind a durable Digital Link route so manuals, recycling information and future passports can evolve.

DPP-READY DIRECTION

Start with clean identity data today. Add regulated passport workflows when your product category requires them.

TraceRelay does not pretend a barcode alone is a Digital Product Passport. Identity, versioned product data and lifecycle integrations remain separate building blocks.

Designed for practical manufacturing teams

Your ERP does not need to become a barcode laboratory.

  • 01Keep current source systemsUse exports and APIs instead of forcing a replacement project.
  • 02Retain human controlApprove mappings and resolve errors before generation.
  • 03Preserve portabilityKeep identifiers, catalogue data and customer domains under customer control.

Early customer programme

Bring one real catalogue. Leave with a migration health report.

We are opening a limited pilot for European manufacturers, importers and implementation partners. The first conversation is about the data and the operational problem—not a long software contract.

Straight answers

Before you send a catalogue.

Does TraceRelay issue GS1 identifiers?

No. Official identifiers remain the responsibility of the brand owner and its GS1 licensing organisation. TraceRelay validates, maps and uses customer-provided identifiers.

Will existing EAN or UPC symbols stop working?

The transition is designed around coexistence. A migration plan can retain existing linear symbols while introducing the appropriate 2D carrier for the use case.

Is this already a certified Digital Product Passport provider?

No. TraceRelay is currently product-identity and 2D migration infrastructure. DPP functionality will be introduced only against applicable product rules and provider requirements.

Is the pilot suitable for confidential data?

Start with a representative, minimised sample. Production onboarding, data processing terms, retention and security controls are agreed before confidential catalogue data is accepted.
